Well what a financial year this has been with my first full year in business!!  I have been very busy and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support.

I have now moved to Port Kembla Drive in Bibra Lake where the old SY Knight & Co offices used to be.  Keep an eye out as there is a new website on the horizon which will be delivering new and relevant information so keep viewing. On my website there will also be links to popular websites and key dates for lodgment in the upcoming financial year. I have also set up a facebook page which will also be constantly updated so make sure you check that out too.

I have discovered throughout this year that a lot of you are really struggling especially those of you who have rental properties in South Australia. With that in mind and what the State and Federal Budgets are proposing it is not likely to get any easier for most of you.  I would like you all to start looking at different ways to save money and build a better financial future.  Over the past month I have researched and met with financial advisors and have discovered a great financial services company who I believe could help us to achieve this.  I know how much can be saved, with the right advice and guidance, by refinancing mortgages, looking at superannuation and various insurances.  I realise many of you do not wish to refinance because you do not want to change banks but with the help  of an expert you can get a better deal and save money.  Unfortunately the government have brought in new regulations which limited the advice that accountants can give in these areas.

When you come in to get your tax done this year may be I can discuss these options with you, if you so desire.
